Play Therapy

Play therapy explores a child’s natural means of expression and communication through play. A non-directive, child centered approach is utilised.

This approach aims to create a safe, accepting and non-judgemental environment which enables children to freely express their inner worlds, and work through their emotions.

Play Therapy can be of benefit to children with a range of emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties, including anger, anxiety, neurodiversity, developmental delay, low self-esteem, illness, disability, bereavement, trauma, parental separation, social difficulties and avoidant school attendance.
